Looking to learn more about this historic moment and to find out more about Erin, I was able to learn a lot from NBC Sports, like the fact that she's won both national and world championship titles in inline skating and her career in speed skating has been a rocket pace.  Starting in 2017 and only being on ice an accumulative 4 months, her first ever competitive speed skating event was the 2018 US Olympic Trials, where she placed third and made the team.
